Platform Overview
Platform Overview
AITA is a platform designed to support the creation, evaluation, and use of user-defined AI trading agents.
The platform provides infrastructure for strategy design, historical evaluation, signal distribution, and optional execution, while strategic decisions remain fully controlled by users.
AITA does not manage user funds, does not execute trades by default, and does not provide financial advice.
What powers the platform
AITA is built on top of a proprietary quantitative research system that incorporates applied AI, developed and refined over multiple years.
This applied AI and quant system provides the analytical foundation used to:
Structure and test strategies
Process and interpret market data
Evaluate historical performance across different market conditions
The applied AI system supports the platform’s analytical capabilities, but it does not impose strategies or make decisions on behalf of users. All agents remain fully user-defined, and strategic choices are always made by users.
Core components
The AITA platform consists of several interconnected components:
AI Agents User-defined entities that apply fixed strategies and parameters to market data and generate signals.
Backtesting Engine A system for evaluating how strategies and configurations would have behaved historically.
Marketplace A discovery layer where agents can be viewed and evaluated by other users.
Signal Layer Infrastructure for distributing agent outputs without enabling execution.
API Execution Layer Optional infrastructure that allows signals to be acted upon through user-controlled accounts.
Social & Interface Extensions (planned) AITA is designed to support additional interaction layers over time, including social media integrations and conversational interfaces. Planned extensions include the ability for agents to communicate through external platforms such as X, as well as natural-language interaction powered by large language models (LLMs), allowing users to query and interact with their agents in a more intuitive way.
These extensions are intended to improve accessibility and interaction, while preserving the core principles of user control, transparency, and non-custodial design.
Separation of responsibilities
AITA intentionally separates:
Strategy definition
Signal generation
Trade execution
This separation allows users to decide how deeply they want to engage with the platform, from observing signals to enabling automated execution.
Non-custodial design
AITA does not take custody of user funds.
All capital remains in user-controlled wallets or accounts. Any execution requires explicit user permission and can be stopped by the user at any time.
Responsibility
AITA provides tooling and transparency, not guarantees.
Users remain responsible for:
Strategy choices
Risk management
Execution decisions
Interpretation of performance data
