Connect an Agent via API Execution

Connect an Agent via API Execution

Once prerequisites are complete and your Hyperliquid account is ready and funded on the perps account, you can connect an agent from the Marketplace for automated execution.

Step 1: Choose an agent

Browse the Marketplace and select an agent you want to automate.

Make sure the agent aligns with your expectations and risk tolerance.

Step 2: Create an API key on Hyperliquid

To enable execution, you must create an API key inside Hyperliquid.

To do this:

  1. Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz

  2. Log in to your Hyperliquid account

  3. Navigate to the API section

  4. Create a name for your API wallet (for example: “AITA AGENT”)

  5. Click Generate

  6. Click Authorize API to confirm

When creating the API key:

  • Enable execution permissions only

  • Do not enable withdrawal permissions

The API key allows trades to be placed on your behalf without granting custody or withdrawal access.

Important: Save your API key securely

Your Hyperliquid API key is displayed only once at creation.

If you close the page or lose the key:

  • It cannot be recovered

  • You will need to generate a new API key

Save the API key securely before continuing.

Step 3: Connect the API key to AITA

Return to AITA and paste:

  • Your Hyperliquid wallet address

  • Your Hyperliquid API key

This links your execution account to the selected agent.

Step 4: Confirm and activate

Review the connection details carefully and confirm.

Once active:

  • The agent’s signals are executed automatically

  • Trades follow the agent’s fixed strategy and parameters

  • Execution occurs only on your Hyperliquid account

Managing and disconnecting

You can disconnect API execution at any time.

Disconnecting:

  • Stops automated execution immediately

  • Does not affect your funds

  • Does not modify the agent’s strategy

Important notes

  • A minimum balance of $2,000 is required for reliable execution

  • Strategies are fixed and cannot be modified

  • Historical performance does not guarantee future results

  • API execution automates execution, not decision-making

  • AITA provides infrastructure, not financial advice
